Each year it is our tradition to honor an individual who has dedicated their time and energy to the betterment of our industry, who has demonstrated corporate leadership, and has been a contributor to their community.

The AAMA leadership is blessed with so many worthy candidates for this honor. Each year, it is a challenging process to select the honoree. In the spring of 2020, we decided to honor an individual who has spent his working career dedicated to this industry, someone who is without question, worthy of this award. Then COVID infiltrated our lives and our businesses. We quickly made the decision to suspend any fund-raising activities as the pandemic was dramatically impacting our lives and businesses. While COVID is still lingering, we feel comfortable coming back to our supporters and this industry to raise funds again to support our charities.

It is my honor and privilege to invite you to join me and our industry as we recognize
the 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, Robert Geschine, President, and CFO of H. Betti Industries, who is the dedicated and visionary leader of the company and his family. He has been part of that organization since 1974. He challenges all of us to be the best that we can be, always do the right thing, and pushes us to reach new heights.

The AAMA is honored to recognize Bob for his achievements in business, contributions to his community, his commitment to family, and his contributions to this industry. At the AAMA Annual Gala, which will be held on September 22nd, 2022, we will recognize the work and achievements of Bob Geschine, while raising money to support the various children’s charities.

Our fund-raising efforts ultimately support the lives of children in need around the world. These organizations focus on those fighting cancer and other life-threatening diseases, are challenged with special needs, and want the opportunity to participate in athletics, or those looking for a way to bring back the joys of childhood.
