Support Boston Children Centre (BCC) in Kenya with a new borewell

Join Sahaya International and Boston Children Centre in Kenya in providing a better future to underprivileged children in Kenya.

We invite you to join our fundraising campaign to raise $9,000. Twelve years ago, we drilled a borehole to serve Boston Children Centre. Due to prolonged drought that Kenya is experiencing now, the borehole has dried up. We can’t get water from it anymore. These has been the only source of water serving over 425 pupils and staff coming to BCC. The only source of water for Matopeni slum community members. The only source of water we have been using to irrigate our farm to grow food to feed orphans, needy and destitute rescue home kids.

It’s impossible to live without water, especially for a centre like BCC and the slums members. Forcing us to appeal to you as our longtime friend for help. According to the hydrogeological report we can get enough water at the depth of 300 meters. The $9000 to be raised, shall be used to deepen the existing hole from the current 200 meters to 300 meters depth to get a yield of 20 cubic liters per hour. This will be enough to cater for all our needs and that of the Matopeni slum members.

It is for this reason that we are asking you kindly to join hands with us. Every donation, regardless of the amount, will bring us one step closer to our target of 9,000 USD.
