Meet Sean!

Sean Lewis is the President and CEO of the Otsego County Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Otsego/Chenango/Delaware Community Organizations Active in Disaster, the Southern Tier 8 Regional Broadband Collaborative, and the Otsego County Regional Innovation Council.

Sean is a Harris Fellow of Rotary International, sits on the Board of Directors for both the Rotary Club of Oneonta and the Rotary Fund, the CDO Workforce Board of Directors, and is the 2025 Board Chair of Hill City Celebrations (First Night Oneonta).

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Sean is our region's only Bengals, Reds, and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He moved to the area in 2011 to take on the position of Advertising Director at The Daily Star. In 2015, he moved to College Station, Texas, and in 2022 returned to run the Otsego County Chamber of Commerce.

Sean and his family reside in the Town of Oneonta where he enjoys a three-minute commute to the office. While not a professional musician, Sean has had a close brush with the music and the arts -- having attended over 75 concerts in nearly 50 years. Included in that impressive statistic is attendance to see artists including AC/DC, Black Sabbath, The Rolling Stones, Rush (3x), Genesis (3x), Pink Floyd (3x), The Grateful Dead, Van Halen, Jethro Tull, The Pretenders, Dave Matthews Band, and Warren Zevon, among many others.
