Dogwood Arts Council, Inc. (DAC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to fostering artistic expression, supporting local artists, and enriching the cultural landscape of Palestine and Anderson County. Through visual and performing arts initiatives, DAC enhances the quality of life for residents and visitors while strengthening the community’s creative identity.

Our Programs & Initiatives

DAC organizes and supports a variety of arts programming, including:

Art Tracks – A rotating public art initiative that has brought large-scale sculptures to downtown Palestine since 2012
VIP Art Event – An elegant evening celebrating the arts, featuring curated artwork to kickoff the annual Dogwood Festival weekend
Art Walks – Connecting talented local artists with businesses and the community

Operated entirely by dedicated volunteers, DAC is led by a passionate board committed to planning and executing events that inspire creativity and engagement. We invite everyone to experience the arts, support local talent, and be part of a thriving artistic community.
