My name is Emma Parker and I am beginning my journey competing for the USA Luge Olympic Youth National Team. Over the past year, I have been traveling to Lake Placid, New York to train and develop as a luge athlete with the goal of making the USA Luge Olympic Youth National Team. I met that goal in May and am now moving on as a member of team. Developing further will take even more commitment, effort and financial investment. My ultimate goal is to represent my country in the Olympics as a member of the USA Luge Olympic team.

This summer I am working with trainers to refine my physical skills, attending clinics to practice luge on wheels and will be attending multiple national team camps beginning in August and through the year until next spring and entering multiple competitions, competing and learning from the best coaches and luge athletes in the country. The uniqueness and my passion for luge will allow me to challenge myself and grow as a person. The training is rigorous, but I am looking forward to it. I am honored to have the opportunity to represent Team USA and put my limits to improve my abilities and achieve measurable improvements. It’s the fastest sport on ice and I have a need for speed!

This is why I’m asking for your help. Luge is a self-funded sport requiring a considerable amount of financial investment for training, travel, housing/food and equipment fees. I am working to raise funds to support my goals and dreams so I can improve my abilities and continue to work on improving through the US system.

Although my goal is to raise $10,000, every donation, even a small one, will make a huge difference. All money raised will go towards track time, tuition, housing, equipment, coaches, and more. Thank you!
