Sweet Pea showed up at feral colony on the Peninsula. She was clearly hurting and not a feral cat. Breathing heavy with her tongue sticking out.

This poor girl was scared and hungry and would not leave the feeding area. Her feeder and ultimate rescuer had to go home to get a cat carrier and when she returned, Sweet Pea was still there. She easily went into the carrier as if to say, THANK YOU for helping me.

We can only assume that she was someone's pet because she is super friendly and about 11 years old.

With her tongue sticking out, we knew she would need dental help...it's a tell tale sign. What we didn't know is that she also has a stage 3 heart murmur. Before any dental procedure can be done safely on her, she needs a cardiology work up.

After her initial exam we learned that 13 of her teeth will need to be removed.. this is expensive enough but toss in the added cardiology testing and the vet bill really rises.

This is where your help comes in. We need to raise $2269 more to get this sweet girl the medical help she deserves.

Sweet Pea will be cared for in a foster home and ultimately, put up for adoption to a family that will love her forever.
