This winter, we’re coming together to celebrate and support the Bradley Street Bicycle Co-op’s mission to empower our community through cycling. BSBC is more than a bike shop—we’re a hub for connection, education, and sustainability, making cycling accessible to all.

By donating to our Winter Fundraiser, you’re helping us:

Donate bikes to people who need them in our community. Over 250 of our New Haven neighbors received free bikes this year from the Co-op. We’re excited to grow this number through increased partnerships, better defined sliding scale and discounts, and increasing skills across volunteers and staff.
Provide affordable resources and repair services for people and their bikes. After a magical first year getting the Newhallville Bike Box rolling (puns!) where we offer free repair services and maintenance classes to all who drop in, we’re investing planning, staffing, and funding resources to make its second year even better.
Develop learning resources and workshops that empower individuals to learn and grow their bike repair skills. Our incredible community of 200+ volunteers are the heart of how we help. From learning how to fix a flat to developing more seasoned mechanics, we’ll be improving educational pathways for all shop users.
Foster a welcoming, inclusive community space. Craft markets, zine fairs, meetings and book clubs, oh my! We love sharing our space with others to be in community together, and hope to expand this to better integrate newcomers with the greater BSBC mission in a time when belonging, friendship, and mutual aid is more important than ever.
