The Village Builders Fund is a call to action — a movement to establish The Empowerment Village Education Group as a lasting force for change. We are a collective of Black women educators committed to creating a haven where we can express, connect, and cultivate a pipeline of resilient educators — from the classroom to the boardroom.

Through our flagship program, The Workroom, we’ve built a virtual village that centers the voices and experiences of Black women in education. We gather to share stories, exchange strategies, and uplift one another while fiercely advocating for the success of Black children in schools and systems not designed for them.

Now, we’re asking for your help to take the next step.

For the summer of 2025, our goal is to raise $5,000 to officially launch The E.V.E. Group as a nonprofit organization. Your contribution to the Village Builders Fund will help us:

• Secure 501(c)(3) status

• Launch memberships and free programming for Black women educators

• Provide coaching, community learning, and culturally responsive resources

• Expand our support for Black families navigating the education system

We believe that when Black women educators thrive, Black children thrive.
