On October 28th, 2025 Jamaica was hit by a powerful Category 5 Hurricane. Hurricane Melissa's strong winds and rain has cause much devastation across the island, especially in western Jamaica - we need your help. 

No matter how you are connected to this beautiful island, together let us come together to support, to protect and to help families, businesses and communities recover, rebuild and restore their livelihoods.  

Friends of Jamaica Seattle is committed to sending as much relief back to the island of Jamaica.  Please help where you can. 

On November 8th, we will be hosting a fundraiser at The Taste of the Caribbean 1212 E Jefferson St. Seattle. 5-9pm, you can stop by with in kind items (please see list below) or you are welcome to make a donation on this page.  We also accept checks, cash and Zelle at [email protected]
