Support Las Casas!

Las Casas offers dynamic, low-level English Language classes to immigrants in the Fruitvale neighborhood of Oakland. We empower our students to achieve their goals, working towards a brighter future.

We only charge our students a small fraction of our overall costs - the funds we raise will directly go to cover our program and administrative costs so we can continue our critical work.

Program Highlights:

Evening classes 3 nights/week in the Fruitvale neighborhood of Oakland serving 300 students per year.
Classes are taught by a dedicated team of over 40 teacher volunteers.
Our classes are in-person and in-the evening - critical for our employed and low level learners.
Computer Literacy is integrated into our curriculum.
Las Casas welcomes students of all educational, economic and cultural backgrounds.
We partner with local organizations to connect our students to needed legal, health and educational services.
