We still have to:

Pay our team & other expenses
Keep the cafe clean & safe
Care for every single cat

Ernie is a 10-year-old sweetheart with the gentlest soul.

When he came to us, life hadn’t been easy on him.
He had been living outside.
His little droopy ears told the story of his harsh past..

And after being rescued… he went through something hard.
He had 17 teeth removed.

But even through all of that…
Ernie stayed calm. Affectionate. So grateful for kindness.

Our team showed up for him every day—
giving him a safe place to recover, rest, and feel loved again.

And then something incredible happened…

We shared his story with our community online, and the word spread.....

Ernie was adopted into a 10-acre sanctuary for animals with disabilities.

A quiet, loving place where he can finally rest, heal, and be cherished.
