Happy Holidays! 2024 is the fifth year for the Holiday Spectacular episode of Tuesday Trivia with Matt! You're invited to help us do something spectacular for an all-volunteer mutual aid organization in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Let Our Voices Echo- Grand Rapids (L.O.V.E. GR) started in January 2021 by a group of loving citizens who were committed to helping their unhoused and impoverished neighbors. They started serving hot meals at Veterans Park in downtown Grand Rapids every Monday night, and soon added donations of other basic necessities. According to volunteer Cass: "We serve food and other necessary items every Monday at Veterans Park - rain, snow, holiday - if it's a Monday, we will be there".

The work they do is important year round, but I wanted to support L.O.V.E. GR with this year's Holiday Spectacular funds because the cold, blustery Michigan winter weather makes things even more challenging for the unhoused people of our city. L.O.V.E. GR is not just providing a warm meal, but also warming the hearts of so many. As the state on their Facebook page: "Our vision is to constantly strive to listen to the words, feel the feelings, and see with the eyes of others".
