Hi, I’m Vincent Jude Chaney. For the past decade, I have been waiting tables in New Orleans restaurants.

A year ago, I made a life-changing decision to get sober. I found an incredible anchor in Ben’s Friends—a nationwide support group specifically tailored for people in the hospitality industry navigating addiction and recovery. The past year of growth, accountability, and shared healing with this group has been nothing short of life-saving.

To give back to the community that held me up, and to celebrate one year of continuous sobriety, I’m lacing up my running shoes to run 430 miles across the state of Louisiana via LA 1.

I can't cross this finish line alone. All donations raised through this campaign will go directly to Ben’s Friends, ensuring they can continue offering free, safe, and vital peer support to hospitality workers who need a lifeline.
