Breath Collective is a nonprofit performing arts production company. We exist to shape a revolutionary future for the performing arts. We are producers, and we're building a new works incubator where creative artists can develop their ideas into full-fledged productions that will be presented by us and licensed to other arts organizations.

The arts generate $1.6 billion dollars annually for the Greater Cincinnati economy. However, sustaining that economic engine will require significant innovation and flexibility as we experience imminent demographic changes. In Silicon Valley, a tech entrepreneur with an idea goes to a venture capital fund with their concepts and raises money to develop it into a reality. But where can an artist with an idea go to get the support, resources, and promotion they need to bring new art into the world? Breath Collective is the answer to that question.

We work with artists to package and promote their ideas. We bring these ideas to life and transform them into productions that will be showcased in an annual festival and then sold to other arts organizations across the US. With this strategy, we are solving two problems. We are helping artists who don’t have access to heritage presenting organizations get their ideas on new stages, and we are helping heritage organizations who are evermore pressured to program innovatively by offering them fully-packaged productions that will engage their changing audiences.
