We have a new neurological intake who has joined us, Cheeto! This sweet little fella came to us as a rescue transfer from our friends over at Scoot to the Stars. Previous to them, he was living in a terrible hoarding situation.

Cheeto has a very interesting neurological profile. He is paralyzed in his rear and, with a little bit of movement in his tail/hips, and his front legs are uncoordinated. He has two large pressure sores on his hips which are already looking night and day better since his arrival, and we’re working hard to get his urine stained fur back to a sparkling white. He will be undergoing a rehabilitation intensive to build strength and improve his mobility.

Cheeto will also need a dental and for his pressure sores to completely heal before he is medically ready for adoption.

His little personality is SO cute, and he wiggles his whole self in joy when you enter his room. We can’t wait to continue to get to know him.
