IndigeNash is a living, growing movement rooted in Indigenous storytelling. In the heart of a city with no federally recognized Native land, IndigeNash connects grassroots creativity with industry-level impact, bridging traditional and modern perspectives.

Our mission is to reclaim Native visibility while building inclusive community. IndigeNash exists not just to showcase Native art, but to create new frameworks for Indigenous-led storytelling—amplifying voices in galleries, on screens, on stages, and beyond. IndigeNash is helping to create a future where Native voices are not only represented, but at the center of the narrative.

A Look Back at IndigeNash 2025:

IndigeNash 2025 lit up Nashville with five days of Indigenous artistry, innovation, and community across venues including Banker’s Alley, Belmont University, The Forge, The Frist Art Museum, Bridgestone Arena, and The Basement.

Festival highlights included:

Opening Night at Banker’s Alley, with a powerful gallery reception featuring acclaimed Diné artist Jeremy Salazar (Three Feathers Studio)
A landmark conversation with James Beard Award–winning chef Sean Sherman at Belmont University
IndigeNash Innovators at The Forge, debuting a new Ojibwe language app, the first IndigeNash e-zine, and panels on culture, futurism, and storytelling
Comedy Night with Blake Pickens and Eddie Ortiz, bringing humor and medicine to a packed room
The IndigeNash Maker Market at The Frist, featuring Native makers, artisans, performances and cultural activations
A special screening of Tootoo at Bridgestone Arena in partnership with NHL trailblazer Jordin Tootoo, who generously donated proceeds from the event to the IndigeNash collective
An incredible music showcase at The Basement, featuring Seryn, Crystal Shawanda, Tribe of Horsman, and three-time Grammy-winner Bill Miller
Film & Fashion Showcase, including our Native Women in Film Panel (Tafv Sampson, Erica Tremblay, Loren Waters, Jessica McEver), a special discussion with Jordin Tootoo, and our Indigenous Fashion Show, featuring local designers in a runway show at The Forge.
