Return, Return explores the myths, legends, and stories we use to make sense of the world — from creation and destruction to the eternal cycles of life, death, and renewal.

Join the International Orange Chorale of San Francisco and Artistic Director Chris Filice for an evening of vivid, adventurous choral storytelling drawn from traditions around the world. Through music inspired by Norse mythology, Hawaiian and Latvian traditions, Christian mysticism, Ovid’s Metamorphoses, and the natural world, we’ll explore how ancient stories continue to speak to something deeply human.

Moving through three musical chapters — Creation, Destruction, and Eternity — the program ranges from intimate and luminous to fiery, rhythmic, and exuberant, culminating in Evan Mack’s Of Fire and Form (The Phoenix).

Come experience an evening of music about where we come from, what we lose, and how we begin again.
