🌊 Help Keep Isla Mar Alive

For over a decade, Isla Mar has been a bridge between science and community in Puerto Rico, bringing marine research, conservation, and education to the people who live closest to the reefs and coastlines we all depend on.

What started in 2011 as two graduate students’ dream has grown into a beloved local organization: teaching kids to snorkel, training the next generation of scientists, and turning data into real community impact.

But now, Isla Mar is at a crossroads.
Major budget cuts to our organization's prime funding source threaten to close our programs and staff positions.

To keep our mission alive, we need to raise $72,000. This is enough to sustain our nonprofit operations for the year ahead, support four part-time staff, and continue bringing science and conservation to life for Puerto Rico’s communities.
