Whole Blood is a survivor-driven documentary that takes viewers inside the race to save lives when trauma strikes. The film reveals how a seemingly simple solution could transform emergency medicine nationwide, and dives into why it hasn’t happened yet.

Our Story

On the day our third daughter was born, what should have been a moment of joy turned into a fight for my life.

After delivery, I experienced a sudden and catastrophic Class IV hemorrhage. Within minutes, I was losing blood faster than my body could survive. What saved me wasn’t luck—it was immediate access to emergency whole blood transfusions and a medical team equipped to act without hesitation.

I survived because the system worked that day.

But as we recovered, we learned a hard truth: many people don’t survive simply because the resources aren’t there when they’re needed most. Too many ambulances across the country are under-equipped. Too many emergency responders are forced to do the impossible with too little.

That realization changed everything for our family.
